Making Impact

SCBC partners with accredited organisations recognised as experts in their fields. Together they reflect SCBC’s three strategic pillars of resilience: mental health, identity, and connection. Each brings evidence-based programs, national recognition, and compliance with regulatory and fundraising standards. By directing un-tied funding to these trusted partners, SCBC ensures that donations strengthen programs with demonstrated outcomes and accountability. 100% of funds are committed towards our cause supporting young people which also includes investing back into our program to create strategic relationships and our strengthen our capability to achieve long-term impact. It’s proof that even small teams like us can create big impact!

Flow on Benefits to Community Partners

“The gift of flexibility from Small Change Big Change has enabled us to pivot our model to deliver our service where young people need it most. This has included shuttering our Online Community service to be able to expand other parts of our service including PeerChat (including an On Demand model and expanding the age range from 18 to 16) as well as connecting young people to mental health support at scale through our Ask ReachOut project.  This ensures we continue to meet young people where they are to be able to provide mental health support.” – ReachOut Australia 2025

Value-Add Beyond Fundraising

SCBC’s funding has elevated our broader fundraising efforts by acting as a lever for new partnerships and deeper engagement. For example, Aussie Broadband staff participated in an online Red Dust Yarn focused on reconciliation and supported the launch of the Red Dust Bamboo Toothbrush, with all funds raised supporting Red Dust programs. It has allowed us to innovate in how we engage with communities, through new cultural exchange formats and program delivery, aligned with community-led priorities. This flexibility means Red Dust can respond in real time to evolving needs. ” Red Dust 2025

“Because Small Change Big Change funding is flexible, it has amplified our ability to leverage other fundraising opportunities. For example, knowing we had a secure funding base gave us the confidence to approach new national partners and local councils with co-funding models, ultimately securing new investment and expanding our reach. This flexibility makes SCBC’s support uniquely catalytic compared to restricted funding streams.” – Beacon Foundation 2025
