One of the highlights was reconnecting in person with our Telco members, including Andy and Richard from More & Tangerine (pictured left and right with Jen below), to share insights, strengthen partnerships and reflect on the power of community to drive real-world impact.

Our presence at the summit wasn’t just about networking. It was about demonstrating what’s possible when we act together.
In collaboration with Red Dust Role Models, we proudly showcased their eco-friendly bamboo toothbrushes, a simple yet powerful symbol of health, sustainability and cultural connection. Thanks to the generosity of summit delegates, we raised over $500 to support Red Dust programs in remote Indigenous communities. A timely reminder that even small actions can ripple outward to create big change.
A special thank you to Roberto from Red Dust (pictured centre with Renee and Jen below) for your leadership and passion in championing our shared cause alongside the Australian telco industry.

We’re also deeply grateful to the CommsDay team for delivering another excellent program and Industry Awards Night, and for being longstanding champions of our mission.
Throughout the summit, we engaged in meaningful conversations about how our sector can collectively lead. Not only in innovation and technology, but in shaping a more socially and environmentally responsible future. The energy was clear: there’s a growing appetite for purposeful action focused on people, planet and progress.
We also used this opportunity to spotlight a unique benefit of SCBC membership: access to guest speaker sessions led by our community partners. One recent addition, co-designed with ReachOut’s Parent Coaching Team, offers vital support to working parents across our network. The session includes:
- Insights into the teenage brain and decision-making
- Practical tools to support young people aged 10 to 18
- Strategies for staying connected while prioritising parental wellbeing
Want to build a culture of resilience and youth advocacy in your workplace?
